About our EA Sports FC news

Latest news on the EA Sports FC gaming franchise, a series of sports video games developed and published by Electronic Arts (EA). It serves as the direct successor to their former FIFA series, which was discontinued following the termination of EA and FIFA's licensing agreement on 12 July 2023. The series was rebranded as EA Sports FC from September 2023 with the launch of EA Sports FC 24 on 29 September. FIFA intends to enter a partnership with a new developer to produce "the real game that has the FIFA name", and FIFA 23 was the last entry to the franchise under the FIFA name.
